Discover Bandung: Food, History, Nature
Thoroughly enjoyed my tours with Cerita Bandung. Day 1 involved walking tours in the city. Ifah was brilliant—so eloquent and spoke to my interests in food and women’s history. There was so much to discover about Bandung’s history and culture through iconic food and even provision shops in the Gempol area and beyond—I cannot believe some of these shops and buildings date back to the 1930s! Also learnt that milk production is pretty big in Bandung, which explains why the yogurt drink we ordered was so good. The historical walk down Jalan Asia Afrika also brought what I learnt from history books about the “Bandung Conference” of 1955 to life. Day 2 involved a trip to the south. Steven is an excellent driver and tour guide, full of stories and jokes and always attentive to our needs. Kawah Putih was the highlight of the trip, with its beautiful, sulfurous aqua waters and white sands. The hot springs, suspension bridge, and cable cars at Rengannis Crater were fun too. Steven also brought us on lovely little detours that catered to our interests; for instance, we saw more of the tea plantations and he taught us about the history of the centralised tea production system in Indonesia, which was eye-opening. I would highly recommend Cerita Bandung, there are many packages to choose from!

Walking Tour Bandung
I thoroughly enjoyed my walking tour of Bandung with Mirdha. I had said that I was interested in architecture and local culture. Mirdha prepared a great tour showing me notable buildings, many from the Dutch Colonial period. Mirdha was very knowledgable and was able to give me the history and many anecdotes and side stories to make the tour informative and interesting. I thought the tour price was reasonable, and it did include a stop at a famous bakery, which unfortunately was closed due to the old age of the bakers! That will have to wait for another day. Thanks Mirdha!

Fantastic Walking Tour in Bandung
My wife and I had a fantastic walking and food tour of Bandung with Anindito and Nadya. They were both so informative telling us all about Bandung as we walked around and frequently we stopped to sample local food that was all so good! The tour took us to places that we wouldn’t have found on our own and we really appreciated the insider knowledge that they provided. We don’t understand why more western tourists don’t visit Bandung because we had a great time and ate some amazing food. If you end up in Bandung, you must book a tour with Cerita Bandung you won’t regret it!

A Walking Tour Filled With Discovery
When I was in college, me and my besties like to roam around Bandung and wonder about the history of places but there's no one to ask. 20+ yrs later I could simply join Cerita Bandung to get up close and personal with some of the most familiar places in Bandung that you pass by everyday. Every place has its stories, it's so addictive that you find yourself eagerly anticipating every route this walking tour has to offer.

Glorious Bandung
Had a wonderful trip discovering Bandung with Cerita Bandung. Their Bandung walking tour is awesome! Discovering the locality sites with historical facts of buildings such as The Grand Preanger hotel, the site of Bandung first road was built and first media - Pikiran Rakyat HQ and the site where Soekarno was kept in prison. Their friendly and approachable guide always provide answers with a smile. Even more awesome their private and exclusive trip to places Kawah Putih, Pinisi, Tea Factory, Kawah Rengganis, Saung Odjo. Truly enjoyed Bandung and will be back for more… with God’s willing.

Discovering Bandung
Great trip with Imran and his team - discovery of a kopi luwak factory, a waterfall and a tea factory, lots of explanations given, answers to our questions, very professional team and well organized trip . Great restaurant selection. I recommend 100%.
